Kansas
Although wait a second. Kansas did have one redeeming quality. I have to question Not In My Back Yard (NIMBY) people crying out that the sight of wind farms will destroy their scenic landscapes, because honestly this was the most riveting twenty minutes of my entire drive. After seeing maybe five windmills in West Virginia and being told by my Future Energy Choices professor and transvestite Rachael that Indiana had a lot of windmills that apparently I just couldn’t find, I was joyful almost to the point of tears at seeing just hundreds of windmills for miles, just turning in the breeze – you know, generating pollution free power. I will be forever tilting at windmills (I used that idiom terribly, forgive me).
