Easy day yesterday of just 9 miles. Stopped for a break at a shelter at 3, and rain comes pouring down, so we spent the night in a lean to with a roof!

Today we got up early and began the roller coaster: 4 mountains between us and a flat trail to Harper’s Ferry. My shoes were soaked so I hiked in my sandals, which made me feel like Pocahontas so I was happy. Terri has 9+ blisters, and is doing awesome despite the pain.
