Nottwil, Switzerland
The weather was absurd the whole weekend: brief moments of sunshine were quickly pummeled by gray clouds slowly drizzling rain onto the entire town. Slugs fled drowning in droves onto the sidewalk. But the cows and sheep didn’t seem to mind either way. The flowers soaked it all in. The weather did set the tone for a memorial in the church yard on top of the hill. I stayed out of the way, admiring both the view of the lake below and the artistry of the well-loved grave plots.
